Girls Track & Field Athlete of the Year
Tiffani Long, Long Reach, senior. Long was dominant at the county championships, earning titles in the 100- and 200-meter dashes, the long jump and the high jump. That effort at counties helped the Lightning repeat as team champions. An injury hampered her at the region meet, but she still emerged with a title in the long jump. Long followed her region title in the long jump with a second-place finish at states.
